Meet the 2014 RP Mission Team

Lord willing, the RP Mission Team will be in Scotland from the 22nd May – 26th June.  Here is some information about the Team.

PatrickPatrick McNeely (Team Leader)

I am originally from Colorado, USA, where my home church of Springs Reformed Church – a congregation of the RPCNA in Colorado Springs – is located. I came to faith in Christ when I was 16 years old and am currently 30 years old.  After college, I entered the United States Air Force and served for six years.  While stationed in Las Vegas, Nevada, I attended the Reformed Presbyterian Preaching Station in my home.  I am currently a full-time student at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, finishing up my first year in the M.Div. program.  I attend Grace RPC while living here in Pittsburgh, PA.

SheaShea Welch

My name is Shea Welch, and I am originally from a small, fairly rural town in Maryland.  I am currently studying classical vocal performance at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.   Music has long been a part of my life, and I am very blessed and glad to be pursuing it on a professional level, and pray that God will use it to His glory.  I am a Bible-believing Christian and accept the truths that God has presented us in His Word.   The church I recently began attending in Nashville seems a beautiful community of believers, and I hope to find a church family there throughout the upcoming semesters.  I am visually impaired and have a guide dog named Oleta.  She is from an organization called Guiding Eyes in New York.  She is precious and very helpful in navigating unfamiliar areas.  We look forward to meeting all of you and serving throughout the next month!

beach familyThe Beach Family – Scott, Cathy, Paisley, and Garrett
Garrett is finishing 8th grade (S2) and moving on to high school next year.  Paisley, our daughter, will be attending Georgia State University next fall as a senior (final year), studying nutrition. Cathy is a registered nurse who loves her patients.  I am currently unemployed, but worked in the construction industry for many years. Cathy and I both are currently attending Liberty University Online.  Cathy is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing (she graduates  in the fall), and I am studying for the ministry, focusing on missions. Finally, my family and I are members of Harmony Community Church and are very involved.  We were all born in Georgia which is where we live.
