RP Missions is the Short Term Mission Organisation of the American RP Church. The Team this year will be with us from the 23rd May to the 27th June. They will be helping Airdrie, North Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stornoway, and Stranraer.
Ian Gillies (Team Leader) – I am from the Glasgow area and a member of Glasgow RP Church. I have been working in the church for the past eight months and will be beginning my training for the Ministry in September, Lord willing. I am looking forward to serving the Lord alongside the team and for the opportunity to spend some time with the other RP congregations here in Scotland.
Matthew Latuche – This is my 3rd time coming to Scotland with RP Missions. At home, I stay busy caring for my grandparents and an elderly friend, doing lawn care, splitting firewood, and other odd jobs. I am trying to save money to go to university. Right now, I worship at Grace & Truth RP mission church. I am really excited to have fellowship with you, serving your church and learning from your faith and experience! You are a real blessing to me.
Carlie Appletoft – I am from Brookings, South Dakota and attend First Baptist Church of Brookings. I own my own bakery in Brookings and that keeps my pretty busy day to day! In my free time I love spending time with my church family, hanging out with friends, visiting my family, doing arts and crafts, and spending time outdoors. It’s a blessing to be able to leave my business for a month and come to do missions in Scotland.
Hannah McNeil – I’m 23 years old and from Dallas, Texas. I grew up in a Christian home with 3 younger siblings and am very close with my family. I currently attend Freedom Church and am very involved there. I work for a non profit called Grace Bridge/The Master Cares – Africa as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator. I love intentionally building relationships with people and encouraging them. I have a heart for those who don’t know Jesus and hope to one day do mission work full time.
