Junior Camps

Ten young people from 3 of the Scottish RP Churches were away at the Irish RP Junior Camps from the 27th July-3rd August. (One of the Camps, Boys Discovery is going on this week, and Lord willing we will have a report about that next week.)  We interviewed the young people on the ferry back from Belfast about their time at Camp, and though they were all sleepy, they patiently answered all our questions.

What was something you learned or that stood out for you from the talks?
Anne (North Edinburgh) & Elena (Glasgow) – I didn’t know that much about Elijah at all, so we learned a lot about him.

Boys Adventure Camp

What was something you learned or that stood out for you from the talks?
James (Glasgow) – Not to judge people of their sins when we sin ourselves.
Archie (Glasgow) – The talk about favouritism was good because it told us that God doesn’t like any kind of favouritism, whether a singer, or on a more serious note a brother or a sister.
Grant (Glasgow) – To not say the first thing that comes into our head, to think before we speak.

What was your favourite activity?
James, Archie, Grant – Let’s Go Hydro (water park)

What was your favourite thing about Camp overall?
James – Meeting new people and making friends
