From mid-June to the beginning of July was a busy time for the Airdrie congregation as we had the American Mission Team, the Kids Club…
The Irish RP Camp Reunions took place in January and February of this year. Demi from North Edinburgh RPC went to Girls Discovery Camp Reunion, and Elena from Glasgow RP and Hannah from North Edinburgh RPC went to Senior Camp Reunion. Unfortunately, Jacob from Airdrie RP was prevented from going to Boys Adventure Camp Reunion due to Storm Eowyn grounding the flights. We asked those who went from the Scottish RP Church about their Camp reunion experiences. Here is what they had to say:
What was something you learned or that really made an impression on you from the talks?
Demi: It was good to learn that Jesus was tempted too and not just us.
Elena: The Senior Camp Reunion talks were about the 7 churches in Revelation. In the talk about the Laodicean church, I learned about why we shouldn’t be lukewarm and why we need to get involved in the church.
Hannah: From the talks I learned that anyone can say they’re a Christian, but it’s only when you really believe the Bible that things change.
What was your favourite activity?
Demi: Bubble football
Elena: My favourite activity was the game show.
Hannah: My favourite activity was the ceilidh and going on a drive with people in my room during free time.
What was your favourite thing about camp reunion?
Demi: The fun activities and the movie night.
Elena: I enjoyed all the talks and also spending time with my friends in NI again.
Hannah: My favourite thing about Camp was being with my friends that I’ve made over the years and actually being able to do things without having a broken bone or breaking something.
