A Vision for Sister Congregations Relationships

“In a world where many churches can feel isolated in their labors, the establishment of a sister congregation relationshipcan be a tangible expression of God’s care for His church. At its heart, such a partnership is built on the biblical pattern of Christians sharing one another’s burdens, strengthening one another in the Lord, and striving side by side for the faith of the gospel. What follows is the experience of Winchester, Kansas and Stranraer, Scotland doing just that.

A Gospel Partnership Across the Sea

When Paul wrote to the Philippians, he gave thanks for their “partnership in the gospel” (Phil. 1:5). In a similar spirit, the Winchester, Kansas RPC initiated a sister congregation relationship with the Stranraer, Scotland RPC in 2024.
