From mid-June to the beginning of July was a busy time for the Airdrie congregation as we had the American Mission Team, the Kids Club…
Two young people from the Scottish RP Church attended Junior Camps in Northern Ireland this summer. We asked them about their experiences, and here is what some of them had to say.
What was something you learned or that really made an impression on you from the talks?
Elena (Glasgow RP) – The theme of the talks was ‘Hope’ and I especially benefited from the talk about Hope in Suffering. Rev Mark Loughridge also came and did a seminar on Christian worldview which I found very helpful.
Jacob (Airdrie RP) – From the talks I learned about who Judas Iscariot was and how Jesus called him to be come a disciple.

What was your favourite activity?
Elena – My favourite activity was the colour run where we got very messy!
Jacob – My favourite activity was coastering at the north coast.

What was your favourite thing about camp?
Elena – I loved reuniting with my Northern Ireland friends whom I hadn’t seen since camp reunion in February.
Jacob – My favourite thing about camp was meeting Christian friends and spending time with them.
